Theralytics
GOAL:
Enable therapists in post-acute care to focus on what really matters: patient health and experience. Build user trust in medical software to mitigate workarounds, streamline staff efficiency to provide a high standard of care and increase facility revenue.
CONTEXT:
While other EMR (Electronic Medical Record) software is outdated and cumbersome, Theralytics provides a new healthcare experience creating better, more informed results to foster higher performing clinicians and drive business efficiency through:
at-a-glance data reports
interactive patient profiles
internal communication with clinicians, patients, and families
PROBLEM:
Current EMRs force risky workarounds, prioritize insurance compliance over patient care, and inefficiently create more work for clinicians.
QUESTION:
How can we improve efficiency so clinicians can securely function at their highest level, providing the best care for the patient?
USER RESEARCH:
There is constantly too much going on. Therapists have created workarounds for tasks that their basic software should be able to execute. We want to optimize what they currently have access to while adding valuable features that help their workflow.
USER FLOW:
SOLUTION:
Initial launch provides the basis of streamlined workflow tools to create more efficient clinical processes and familiarize with the product. Through the process of integrating robust data, new features become stronger and more powerful with predictive algorithms to provide:
1. one-stop shop for daily therapist needs
2. responsive organizational tool for patient preparation
3. increased appointment efficiency through data prediction
ACHIEVEMENTS IN ROLE:
-
Brainstorming and iterating as a collaborative team through hundreds of voice memos to create user-centered experiences in the dense field of HealthTech.
-
Our approach is inspired by the double diamond method: discover, define, ideate and implement. Agility is our greatest super power. We learn from ourselves and our users to identify hurdles and adapt to clear the jump.
-
Intuitive, clean design across product that stays true to brand strategy while maintaining user centricity backed by research and user interviews.
